What is your course retake and cancellation policy? |
Any paid-in-full course may always be retaken, for free, by the original student whenever a seat is available. A small fee may apply for updated course materials. There is no charge for student substitutions up until the start of the class.You may also cancel enrollments at no charge when you notify us at least 11 business days before the class begins. Otherwise, the following applies: -If you notify us between 6 and 10 business days before class date: you will be invoiced for 50% of the course fee. -If you notify us fewer than 6 business days in advance: you will be invoiced 100% of the course fee. -Any registration that is paid in full can be rescheduled at no extra charge on the same basis we use for our forever-free course retake policy. Do you cancel courses like other training companies if you don't get enough registrations? |
Most of our training is delivered by staff or training principals. This means that we will always try to run a class no matter what the enrollment is, even just one student. Some courses, such as those for leadership and management, do work better with larger registrations and we may have minimum class sizes for certification programs however we'll always let you know this when you book and keep you informed as to the status of the class. We've been training since 1989 and have often advised individuals and organizations on learning plans best suited for them. Our curriculum road maps attest to this. We've often put together customized training sessions and programs for individuals and organizations with specific needs. In fact, as adaptive trainers, we always assess our students' needs and learning styles as we deliver the course and adjust when needed, and we can also provide this as a specific service on demand. You can retake the whole course or any portion of it, free. We believe that you didn't just pay to take a course once; you invested your time and money to obtain skills and experience. We set up all our courses that way, and we offer all our students free retakes for life. Not for a year, not for six months, but for the rest of your life. We've provided a "Register" hyperlink next to each course title for classes that are scheduled to run. You can find it to the right of each course included in and of the schedule lists provided. What payment options do I have? |
We accept Visa and Mastercard. If your financial institution has vendor payment options, we can give you the information you need for that, too. Of course, our many major corporate clients also have standing arrangements and contracts with us, through which we offer standard billing and terms. What do I do if I have a problem while a course is running? |

How do competency assessments work? |
Competency assessments are not obligatory and maybe requested by the student or the person booking the class for the student. If requested by the person booking the class, a summary of assessment results would also be provided, if so desired. A competency assessment consists of a combination of written and multiple choice questions as well as specific coding or other practical exercises. The student's understanding of the materials as well as their ability to apply their understanding is assessed thus, depending on the nature of the course material, portions of the assessment may be open book or open google. This assessment is provided at the end of the training session and may last from 15 minutes to an hour. Assessments will be graded within a week after class completion and upon a minimum pass rate of 85%, students will receive a Certificate of Competency instead of the standard certificate of course completion.Top |
